Paul is Shipwrecked

Acts 27

Paul had been taken as a prisoner and was being brought by ship to Rome, to appear before Ceasar.

Winter was coming, and sailing was dangerous.

Paul warned the Captain and crew of the ship saying,

"Sirs, this journey will be dangerous and cause much hurt, not only to the ship and cargo, but also to our lives."

The owner of the ship was still hoping to set sail and tried to persuade the Centurion to continue on to Rome.

The Centurion decided to ignore what Paul had to say.

- "The ship master must know best." – He thought to himself. -
